WE NEED YOUR ATTENDANCE!

This is it!  Our most important meeting as City Council will either approve or deny the De Anza Short-Term Improvement & Repair Project. This project will be very beneficial to both the City, the Mission Bay environment, and Campland on the Bay. Here is what is at stake:

  • Campland will spend up to $8 million to remove the mobile homes ridden with asbestos and clean-up the landscaping.  No more eyesore and environment hazards that affect both the public and Mission Bay water quality
  • The De Anza Campground can remain open and will be managed by Campland via a new LLC.  Families who planned to stay at the park past June 30 will be able to keep their reservations and enjoy camping.
  • Campland will repair and reopen the bike and pedestrian trails currently unsafe and in disrepair.
  • The City Council can grant an extension of the Campland on the Bay lease to 2026 if approved!

This is a win-win project and needs to be approved – so we need your support!

We need to confirm the time.  Details to follow soon.

Wear your Campland Forever yellow shirt.
