The City of San Diego Environment Committee meeting will discuss a motorized boating ban in Northeast Mission Bay.  We strongly oppose this ban and need our Friends of Campland supporters to attend the meeting.

What’s at Stake: The City’s proposed De Anza Natural plan would result in an outright ban on motorized boating in Northeast Mission Bay, cutting off access to boaters, visitors, residents, and campers without proper studies or public input. This would set a dangerous precedent for other hasty bans on boating and coastal access throughout Mission Bay!

The Solution: Actual analysis and public input are essential. Instead of unchecked bans that disproportionately impact non-hotel guests, the City should study sustainable measures that protect wildlife and recreational access, similar to how other areas of Mission Bay are treated!

If you can attend, RSVP here.
